Ryan Gaunce, BEng, CFP®

Founder

Ryan grew up on his family’s farm in New Brunswick. He showed an aptitude for numbers at an early age and by 10 years old had already begun his own investment portfolio. He obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 from Dalhousie University where he learned that the plan must fit reality and not just look good on paper.

Ryan founded and built Bridgeline with the focus of getting every client a customized financial plan that fits their life. With his unique 3M approach to investing, Ryan and his team have developed successful investment and wealth creation strategies designed to create wins regardless of where we are in the market cycle.

Anuar Konoev, BBA, RRC®

Anuar is a fourth-generation investor with a particular gift for numbers and finance. He holds the Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC®) designation through The Canadian Institute of Financial Planning. His formal education was completed at Red Deer Polytechnic through the Donald School of Business, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Corporate Finance and Economics. After joining the Bridgeline team, Anuar found success by helping clients build momentum through tailored wealth management strategies, comprehensive financial planning, estate planning and tax planning. He is committed to providing clients with personalized advice to help them achieve their financial goals. Anuar is also a registered dealing representative with Raintree Financial Solutions and offers exempt market securities.

Anuar and his wife, Nicole believe in being active members of their community, with volunteering in a number of capacities. They enjoy hiking, travelling, and spending time with family.

Stephen holds a Certified Executor Advisor (CEA®) designation, equipping him with specialized knowledge in estate planning and executor support. This expertise allows him to guide clients through complex estate matters, helping families, private corporations, and family farms navigate intergenerational wealth transfers with confidence. He began investing at 19, which enabled him to buy his first house at 24. Stephen and Ryan first connected to put on finance courses in the community, teaching financial education. Since 2020, he has been an advisor with Bridgeline Wealth, where he provides comprehensive financial planning and estate strategies. Stephen, his wife Madison, and their three children have enjoyed calling Red Deer, AB, home since 2008.

Shortly after Anuar joined Bridgeline, he quickly became an integral part of the team, focusing his efforts on serving agriculture clients, business owners, and professionals. His ambition was to utilize his financial expertise to make a meaningful impact by helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Through his work with Bridgeline Wealth Strategies, Anuar has developed expertise in diversified investment strategies, retirement planning, wealth transfer, and estate planning. He found early success by helping clients build comprehensive financial plans tailored to their needs. Once a plan is implemented, Anuar holds annual progress meetings to review results and assess progress toward each client’s specific financial objectives. He is committed to educating clients on financial planning principles, investment strategies, and exempt market portfolio solutions.

Kathy Gaunce, BSc

Kathy comes from a family of entrepreneurs who have the rare ability to see opportunity before it happens. Kathy, like Ryan, grew up on a family farm in New Brunswick and also completed her science degree at Dalhousie University. She has been a business owner since the age of 10 and excels with customer service, project optimization, and completion.
